I was born in California, but grew up in Granger, Utah. I have always loved to cook and sew and started both at an early age. I also enjoy traveling, camping and people! I have five wonderful children, their great spouses, and 11 fantastic grandchildren. AND I have the most loving and supporting husband ever!
I spent years making kids clothes, bride and bridesmaid dresses, and wedding cakes. (Quilts are easier and a lot less stressful!)
Years ago, my sister (Linda) talked me into taking a Block of the Month class at a shop that no longer exists. Well, I was hooked! She and I opened My Sister’s Quilts in 2010. I then bought her out and continued on my own, BUT with a ton of help from her! This year, I decided to move my shop and rebrand. The shop is now known as “Forget-Me-Not Quilt Shoppe”. Forget-Me-Not is also the name of my pattern designs.
